Pregnancy Takes Over

Wow...you will have to excuse my absence from the blogging world lately. I wish so bad that I was able to keep up with recording the things happening with our crazy family, but I am just simply too tired. That is not a complaint, just a fact. I sit down to start blogging and then just don't finish the post. Oops. Here are just a few updates from the past couple of weeks...
*It has been insanely HOT with NO rain (except for this morning...and even then it wasn't a lot). We haven't been able to do the things outside that we have loved doing because of the heat advisories. My poor babies start sweating the second they step outside the door. And, well, this momma isn't about to go out there!
*Easton is growing perfectly. His heart rate is perfect and I am measuring right on track...35 weeks:) He is still moving A LOT, just like his siblings did. I sometimes get nervous that he is going to break my ribs though:) I love every second that I can feel him squirm, roll, kick, ANYTHING. It reminds me that I will be holding that precious boy SOON!
*Colton has been quite the little entertainer here at the Minder household. I tell ya, that little boy can light up anyone's day. He talks SO much and is moving non stop. He wears himself out quite often resulting in WONDERFUL night sleeps:) Today he didn't wake up until 10:00 and that is only because I went in to check on him! He just melts my heart in every single way when he looks at me with those big chocolate eyes. Such a sweet little man.
*Hayden has become quite the helper around the house, helping pick up dishes, clothes, toys, and anything else I need help with. We have been having some issues with her throwing awful, awful fits, but we are praying this is just a phase and God will give us wisdom through it. She is just so sweet that I know this isn't her. She has become my little snuggler, especially at night time and when she is sleepy.  She also knows how to melt your heart. I must say, I am so thankful that God has allowed me to be the mom of these 2 amazing children. Yes, it is CRAZY here, and some days I just cry right along with the kids, but I wouldn't change it for anything.
*Nic and I have been able to get a couple nights with each other in the past couple of weeks...which has been on my lists of favorites for the summer. Nothing fancy...and actually laid back. We just grab a pizza and head to a friend's pool. It is just some time that we have together without any other little people running around craving our attention.
*Again, I have lots of pictures to share...and once again, they aren't the best quality:) But you will get the point!

The following pictures are from Coco's birthday party...so fun!!

Blueberries, 4th of July, and Family Time

What a July already! We have been certainly enjoying this month, despite the incredible heat that we have been having. What a site it is to see an 8 month pregnant woman trying to stay cool! I can tell you right this second, I don't even care!
Since the last time I wrote, Nic has gone on a long weekend fishing trip with his father, we celebrated the 4th of July, and Nic had this whole last week off...which we jammed pack everything we could. Most of it contained water simply because it was too hot to do anything else, like go to the zoo.
While Nic was gone on his fishing trip, I stayed at my parent's most of the time. I know I am a grown up but I still hate staying out the house at night alone...don't judge:) Plus the kids LOVE Gamma's and Poppy's house. So why not?!
We went blueberry picking...

Colt ate way more than actually ended up in the bucket.
Hayden was a pro and was very proud of herself.

(Not sure why some of the pics are all messed up:/)
We also ate lots and lots of ice cream...like every night:)

As for Nic's week off, we enjoyed going to the campground, going to the spray park, playing in a pool, and celebrating the 4th of July. Did anything at the house get done? Absolutely not. Do I care? Absolutely not! We were together as a family, and that is ALL that I cared about!

These 3 were so fun to watch interact. They got along so well!

Oh yes, and something to note for next year...Colt isn't fond of fireworks...AT ALL! He was shaking the entire time and told me I had to take him inside. He still talks about them and tells me he doesn't like them and they are bad. DID NOT see that one coming!
