Easton is 3 Months

Dear Baby Easton,
You have now been in this world for 3 whole months, but feels like you been a part of our family forever. I can not get over the blessing you are that God has given us. You are truly a joy.
You have the sweetest personality and you are already a huge flirt. Daddy says you have "shifty eyes" just like your big brother. Your eyes are amazing. Every time I look into them my heart completely melts. They draw me in. Your eye lashes keep growing by the day. So beautiful. I think you have your daddy's eyes. They change colors with what you wear:)

You go with the flow...and you go EVERYWHERE with me. I love that. You are such an amazing baby and everyone around you comments about that. I mean, you really have no choice with your older brother and sister running around all crazy and everything. You have to be good.
This past month you have changed so incredibly much. You now smile ALL the time. It's my very favorite. Your dimples are just the sweetest thing. You have also found your hands this month and try to chew on your fist all the time.
You are finally sleeping at night! WOOHOO!!! You usually only wake up one time during the night and that to me is awesome. You do sleep in your car seat the best. No bassinet/crib/playpen for you. It's the only way you sleep:) You also sleep with your blue little blanket. As soon as it touches your cheek, you are out. You also have figured out that your long nap has to be the same time as Colt's nap and Hayden's quiet time. Good boy!

I could hold you 24/7 if I could. You are so cuddly and you love to be held. But you can also entertain yourself laying on the ground. You actually watch Mickey Mouse with your siblings. You crack me up. I just can't get enough of you. You are growing like a weed...you are already in 6 month clothing. Today I put you in 3 month just one last time and you were sorta busting out:)

Your sister absolutely adores you and loves to hold you. She is always making sure you are ok. Colt does as well...but he is a little rougher on you:) I can already tell you all three will be the best of friends.
What a month it has been watching you grow. I can't wait to see what all you learn this next month.
I love you sweet boy...don't EVER forget that. I will always be your momma and you will always be my son.

Love,
Your Mommy

November, Wha?!

Ok, so I know that I am getting really behind on my blog posts...but...for some reason (or 3) I just can't keep up. By the time night comes, I just forget or am just plain tired. That's a good excuse, right? That's what I thought.
Anyways, over the past couple weeks we have been quite busy...not necessarily me, but Nic. He has been working A LOT of hours and so we haven't seen him much. But when we do see him, I take it all in. He found out on Thursday he got promoted to Patrol 3! I am so proud of everything that he has accomplished!
Hayden has been growing up right before my eyes, like tooooo fast. Every little thing that she does lately (besides the outraging temper tantrums:/) seems to be just another way of maturing and actually being a four year old. For example, today at lunch she was coloring, like normal. But when I looked over on her paper, there were stick figures and different shapes drawn. What?! She has also been a HUGE help with the baby. She is getting herself entirely dressed in the mornings as well as making her bed (sometimes). She has been obsessed with painting finger nails and gets upset if she gets the tiniest bit on our skin. The other day while making peanut butter cookies, she rolled them out AND did the fork pattern on the top of the cookie. I just want time to slow down just a tad so I can take it ALL in and just enjoy this age. She makes me one proud momma though!

Colt has also been changing so much. He makes us laugh with his OCD when it comes to his bouncy balls and making sure everything is just perfect. He is such a boy though. Last night I bathed him and then found him outside 15 minutes later covered in sand (don't worry, his dad was out there with him). He keeps us laughing with his little voice and his facial expressions. He is his sister's little shadow. Like all the time. Whatever she does, he does. Sometimes not so good:) But they have really been playing well together, except for the times he pushes her buttons...and he is good at that. I love the relationship growing between them.

Easton is changing by the minute. I will share more about him in a couple of days when he will be 3 months. Wow, that was hard to type. Knowing he is my last is just hard. I don't want to miss a moment.  I will share that he slept through the ENTIRE night last night until 7:30 this morning. AMAZING! I know it was probably a fluke but I will take it! He is such a good baby though. Such a blessing.
Here are some photos from the past couple of weeks...

On Friday, I decided to stay at my parents since Nic was working the football game in Fort Wayne and then staying at my sister's apartment to help her move in the morning. UP mall was having this whole night of festivities, with singers, elves, real reign deer, and Santa. We thought it would be fun for the kids so we took them. I am pretty sure I was more pumped than the kids! We got to watch Santa make his grand entrance on his sleigh...it was pretty neat!

Halloween 2012

Because of the weather (nasty, cold, rain) we ended up Trick or Treating at the mall...probably never again though:)
